1. Our approach
The footballsns operator ("we", "us") collects only what the footballsns app needs to work.
We do not collect any of the following:
name / email address / phone number / postal address / date of birth / age / gender / location / contacts / payment details / advertising identifiers
2. What we collect

About email
Sign in with Apple lets you hide your email. Either way, we never receive or store your email address.
Records of who viewed a post
We record which account viewed each post, for two reasons.
- To count views by people rather than by opens. Opening the same post
many times still counts as one.
- To show the author who viewed their post.
Only the author of a post can see its viewers. You cannot see who viewed
anyone else's post. This is a Premium feature.
**If you view a post while signed out, we only store a hash of your IP
address** — we cannot tell who you are, and you do not appear in the list.
Viewing records are deleted after 30 days. View counts remain, but we do
not keep who viewed. To have your viewing records removed sooner, contact us
using the details in section 11.
About IP addresses
While you are signed out, we store a hash of your IP address purely to count your free daily allowance. We never store the address itself, and the hash is discarded the next day.
3. How we use it
- To provide and run the app.
- To display posts and build rankings.
- To act on reports, investigate breaches and decide on suspensions.
- To provide Premium and track subscription status.
- To prevent abuse.
We never use this data for advertising, we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not collect any advertising identifier.
4. Sharing
We do not share your data except: with your consent; where the law requires it; or where it is needed to protect someone's life, body or property and consent cannot reasonably be obtained.

5. What is public
Posts, comments and profiles can be seen by anyone, including people who are not signed in. Please do not post anything you would not want made public.
6. Retention
- We keep your data while your account exists.
- When you delete your account, the link to your Apple ID and your profile are destroyed immediately.
- Posts and comments may remain, detached from any identifiable account, so conversations stay coherent.
- Reports are retained so we can act on repeat behaviour.
- Free-allowance counters are discarded the next day.
7. Your choices

8. If you are in the EEA or the UK (GDPR)
- Controller: the footballsns operator
- Legal basis: performance of the contract to provide the app (Art. 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in preventing abuse (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection.
- How to exercise them: erasure is immediate from inside the app; for anything else, contact us at section 10.
- Where data is processed: on servers in Japan.
- Complaints: you may lodge one with your national data protection authority.
9. If you are in California (CCPA / CPRA)
- We do not sell or share personal information, and have not in the past 12 months.
- The categories we collect are listed in section 2.
- We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
10. Children
This app is not for anyone under 13. We do not collect ages or dates of birth, but if we learn we hold data from someone under 13, we delete it promptly. Parents and guardians can reach us at section 11.
